Happy Gator

Has anyone noticed how alligators always look happy? I don't know, maybe it's just me Anyway, this photo was taken at my school near one of the ponds they have The gator was sunning itself on the bank of the pond and I wanted to see how close I could get without it going back into the water..... or trying to eat me..... just kidding, the area it was fenced in so he was on one side, I was on the other I wish I could have cut those few pieces of grass in front of his face but I wasn't willing to stick my hand in there to do so xD
