Personality: Jasper is a very mellow feline and doesn't really ask for much. When he gets his mind on something though, that's the only thing he ever thinks about until he actually does it. He likes to take photos that will shock and amaze people especially for their risky atmosphere(as in taking a photo at the top of an electrical tower right before, maybe even during, a storm). Despite his careless rash actions he does not have a death wish, he just ignores whatever fears he has when attempting these things. He likes the rush of it, the feeling that he can do more than what other people can despite his muteness.

Even though he usually doesn't interact with people on his own, he still enjoys at least one or two peoples company. He's learned to be a very good listener and once you get to know him he can be a total sweetheart. He is usually very thoughtful of other people he knows

History: The most important thing you need to know about Jasper is the fact that when he was younger he was in a car accident with his mother and in the process broken glass injured his vocal cords. Ever since that accident he's been mute. He can whisper sometimes and make some noises like sighs, laughs, and even crying however he cannot speak very loud and prefers not to speak at all. It kind of embarrasses him to try and speak in front of others because of how scratchy and coarse his voice is. He doesn't like having to repeat himself when people can't understand him so he just doesn't speak. That and, his mom, ever since the accident babies him and treats him like he's handicapped. She does this mostly because she blames herself for what happened and so she tries to protect him from everything. He tries to tolerate it but this lead to unhealthy obsession of him constantly overstepping his limits and doing dangerous things to prove that he isn't fragile or handicapped. That's how he got into risky photography; it was a way for him to express himself where his voice could not and it showed others that he was stronger than they had thought.

Flaws:
-He's mute and cannot communicate well, so he doesn't like to go to new places and keeps to himself mostly
-He gets short of breath fairly quickly when doing any sort of exercise and sometimes has difficulty breathing with too much exertion
-He doesn't like showing weakness so sometimes he'll pretend to be okay when he's really not; he also because of that same reason will do dangerous things to prove he isn't weak

What He Needs/Wants: This goes for both good friends and other people he's more intimate with! He needs someone who knows and acknowledges his limits but doesn't make a big deal about them. For instance, someone who pays special notice when his breathing becomes more labored and instead of freaking out about it just slows down to give him a chance to catch his breath. He needs someone who is patient too; he can be very stubborn, even stupid, at times and they need to be able to accept that and be there for him when he does screw up(cause he will). I might as well say this isn't a requirement by any means but it'd be helpful for them to have good reflexes and quick thinking to counteract his dangerous impulses.

Extra Stuff:
~He has a lot of scars from both the accident and all of the dangerous things he's done for his photos
~He always carries a red rhythm stick(www.walterproducts.com/images/… and a clicker as a means to communicate; in emergencies he can clack the stick against something to let people know where he is(protocol courtesy of his mother) The clicker is an easier way of him giving answers, one click for no and two clicks for yes.
